The quote PDF
What is on the PDF your customer receives, and where it comes from.
Every quote is available as a PDF. It is attached to the email you send, the customer can download it from their link, and you can choose Download PDF on the quote at any time.
What is on it
- Your yard's name, address, phone, email and website, from Settings.
- The quote number, the date, the valid until date and the project name.
- The customer's name and company.
- Every line with its quantity, unit, unit price and line total, grouped by section.
- Subtotal, tax and total.
- Your quote terms, as they were when the quote was created.
What is not on it
Your SKUs, your costs, your markup and which catalog item matched which line stay inside LumberSet.
Keeping it current
The PDF is made from the quote as it is right now. If you edit the quote after sending, the customer's link shows the new version, and so does the PDF. Send the quote again so the customer gets a fresh email with the new PDF attached.
Your logo
Uploading a logo is not in the app yet, so the PDF shows your yard's name at the top.
